=== The Modern Family === The Albin family is headed by a matriarch in their traditional home in Delaware. Their magic is rooted in Irish folklore, the first of them coming to America during the potato famine in the early 20th century. Many of them were executed during the Salem Witch Trials, accountingfor their small numbers today. Their impact is more easily understood within localities or the communities that Albin families live. Members of the family live all over the United States, predominantly in the Midwest. The highest number of Albin family members currently reside in and around the Gary, Indiana area. Distance from other facets of their family leads to infighting among the Albin. But that stops whenever they face a shared threat.
