== The Sodomite Temple == The Sodomite temple is not a "temple" in the way the word means traditionally. For Sodomite members, the "temple" functions more as a clubhouse for special events and gatherings of the members themselves. The Sodomite compound/complex is located within the Ridgeview Municipal area and was one of the first large land areas purchased from the municipality. The complex sits on 33 acres of land, tucked in a very wooded area of Middle Georgia. Mostly flat, the complex is built with several concepts in mind. Architectural styles include classical "public" buildings that include the bathhouse, the amphitheater, and the central forum of the complex. Those buildings are connected by a Roman-style concrete road. Private homes could be built in any style and were purchased and custom-built by specific members or families who had achieved Sodomite membership. A natural creek existed on the property already and has been modified to represent the flowing waters of a gentle river through the compound. An Ottoman-style wall enclosed the entire compound with specialized Gatehouses placed at the four cardinal directions. Upon entering the compound, visitors must first register with gate security and then be inspected at an administrative building attached to the gatehouse; any items or belongings are also inspected at this time. The grounds of the compound are meant to work with nature as well as remain contemporary, resulting in an appearance of classical and modern aesthetics. The Sodomite council is committed to renewable resources as well as low carbon footprints and thus, the Sodomite compound has become an example of developing smart, ecologically friendly infrastructure from the very beginning. Along the inner roads of the compound are several mixed-use spaces including vegetable gardens, sitting gazebos, elaborate drinking fountains, parks, and other quality-of-life features. Every walkway is covered by a custom awning to keep high levels of sun off of the Sodomites moving throughout the compound. Driving paths are wide enough to fit one golf cart-sized vehicle going in either direction. The symbols of the Sodomites are also represented in the grounds, as the main "road" through the compound is shaped into the number 8. === Living Spaces === Sodomite members who have reached high status levels have private homes built on the compound in varying styles. Those members who are not privileged enough for private homes live in Sodomite housing based upon their roles within the cult community. Brand new members are almost always housed in the Sodomite dormitories, a co-ed inhabited building constructed in an old-world, Gregorian style. These dormitories sometimes have sporting and artistic competitions that provide unique identities for those seeking Sodomite membership.
