= The Sault Storyverse Wiki — Overview =

== What is This? ==
The '''Sault Storyverse Wiki''' is a comprehensive knowledge base documenting a richly interconnected fictional universe centered on '''Ridgeview Municipal'''—a rapidly growing municipality south of Atlanta, Georgia. It is a world where ancient magic, cutting-edge science, powerful bloodlines, anomalous phenomena, and esoteric philosophy converge to create a complex narrative landscape spanning multiple storylines, characters, organizations, and mysteries.

This is both a '''creative universe''' and a '''lore repository'''—a place where stories, characters, locations, and rules are systematized, cross-referenced, and made accessible to creators and readers.

== The Core Universe ==

=== Setting: Ridgeview Municipal & Beyond ===
Ridgeview is the newest municipality in Georgia, incorporated in 2022 after being unincorporated portions of Fulton County. The city is experiencing rapid development—from 65,000 residents in 2019 to 185,000 by 2022. Its infrastructure, history, and institutions form the backbone of the Storyverse. However, Ridgeview is rarely just a regular city. It is a nexus point for:

* '''Ancient magical families''' establishing modern power bases
* '''Advanced scientific research''' conducted by secretive organizations
* '''Anomalous phenomena''' that require containment and study
* '''Esoteric knowledge systems''' influencing reality itself
* '''Hidden histories''' reaching back to the Mali Empire and beyond

The phrase '''"The Sault Storyverse"''' is often interchangeable with '''"The Ridgeview Universe"'''—they are one and the same.

== Five Pillars of the Wiki ==

=== 1. The Magical Families ===
Four primary magical bloodlines maintain influence across the Storyverse, each representing a different form of supernatural power and cultural heritage:
{| class="wikitable"
!Family
!Origin
!Power
!Role
|-
|'''The Sault Family (Iyò)'''
|West African (Mali Empire origins)
|Wealth, institutional power, secrecy
|Anchor family; center of the verse
|-
|'''The Moore Family'''
|West African (Northern & West Africa)
|Ancestral knowledge, political influence
|Diplomatic connectors; preservers of tradition
|-
|'''The Dorsett Family'''
|European & Ancient
|Ritual magic, diplomatic bridge-building
|Relationship hubs; cultural translators
|-
|'''The Albin Family'''
|Irish folklore, Salem-era traditions
|Local influence, magical craft
|Newest codified family; local anchor
|}
These families are not isolated—they form a '''network''' connected through shared history, diplomacy, and supernatural inheritance. The Sault family sits at the center, but all four families operate as an ecosystem of power.

=== 2. The Esoteric System: The Grimoire ===
At the philosophical heart of the Storyverse lies '''The Sault & Smith Grimoire'''—a comprehensive system of esoteric knowledge covering:

* '''Magic & Manifestation''' — How belief shapes reality
* '''Sacred Mathematics''' — Geometry, numerology, and universal constants
* '''Mind, Spirit & Body''' — Consciousness and spiritual practice
* '''Spells & Ritual''' — Practical magical application
* '''Universal Laws''' — Physics, quantum principles, and timelines of consciousness
* '''Language & Meaning''' — The magical power of words across multiple languages

The Grimoire is not mere fantasy lore—it is a functional philosophy system that explains ''how'' magic and reality operate within the Storyverse.

=== 3. Organizations & Power Structures ===
Multiple organizations—both known and hidden—exert influence:

* '''The SCP Foundation''' — A global, secretive organization dedicated to identifying, cataloging, and containing anomalous entities and phenomena
* '''Sault Labs''' — A research complex in the Blue Ridge Mountains conducting genetic research, technological development, and anomaly studies
* '''The Sault Menagerie''' — A hidden facility housing genetically altered species
* '''Cults & Clans''' — The Cult of Astarte, The Sodomites, Clans of the Blueridge—each with unique ideologies and supernatural abilities

=== 4. Anomalous Phenomena: The SCP Collection ===
The Wiki catalogs '''anomalous entities and phenomena''' specific to the Sault Storyverse, including:

* Genetically engineered beings (Project Cerebus, Domesticated Wyverns)
* Reality-warping phenomena (Mass Nymphomania, the Mandela Effect)
* Sentient species and lifeforms (Harpies, Interstellar Jellyfish)
* Indestructible objects (the Nokia 3310)
* Conceptual hazards (Gen Z, Common Core Math)
* Ancient sites with unknown properties (Flower of Life Temple)

Each SCP entry includes origin, properties, containment protocols, and narrative significance within the verse.

=== 5. Advanced Technology ===
Sault Labs has developed innovations that blur the line between science and magic:

* '''LSV-1 Scarab''' — A survival vehicle for exploration and extraction
* '''FA-2289 Cloudship''' — An aerial reconnaissance vessel
* '''Cyborg Program''' — Integration of Agarthan technology with human enhancement
* '''Agarthan Technology''' — Ancient subterranean innovations adapted for modern use

== What Makes This Storyverse Unique? ==

=== Interconnectedness ===
Every element—families, locations, organizations, magic, technology, and characters—is connected through shared history, mutual influence, and overlapping narratives. The wiki is designed to show these connections.

=== The Mandela Effect as Mechanism ===
The concept of '''collective false memories''' is not merely lore—it is a ''mechanism'' that explains how reality changes and events unfold within the verse. It is both philosophical and practical.

=== Blended Worldbuilding ===
The Storyverse refuses genre boundaries:

* '''Contemporary''' (modern Georgia, current technology)
* '''Magical''' (esoteric practices, ancient bloodlines)
* '''Scientific''' (genetic research, anomaly containment)
* '''Anomalous''' (impossible phenomena)
* '''Spiritual''' (consciousness, manifestation, karma)

=== Depth & Accessibility ===
The wiki layers information for multiple audiences:

* Quick summaries for casual readers
* Detailed lore for engaged followers
* Interconnected references for deeper exploration
